Nave is a visual identity project developed for a fictional café that brings together drinks, design and live music. More than a traditional café, Nave was created as a meeting place where people can spend time while discovering the work of emerging artists.

Throughout the day, a dedicated area of the space showcases works by designers, illustrators, painters and other artists, with a new selection presented every month. Live music is also integrated into the café’s programme, with local and independent musicians performing in an informal setting while the space continues to operate as usual.

The visual identity was designed to reflect this combination of different creative areas. At its centre is a custom logo built from soft, connected letterforms, representing the idea of coexistence and community within the space.

Creating the posters, menu, business cards, merchandise and digital communication made the identity more flexible and consistent across different formats.

A series of posters were created for the live performances. Each poster includes a QR code that leads to the café’s website, where visitors can access further information about the featured artist.

The website was developed as a separate project within my portfolio and expands the Nave concept into a digital space, bringing together the café, menu, monthly programme, merchandise and information about participating artists.
